That's right these machines have out-sold every other helicopter and are the number one choice for training today's commercial and military pilots.

Choose from a half or full one hour lesson where following a briefing from your instructor you will be guided through the basic steps required to see you in full control of the machines three sets of controls. Whilst you will be flying, for some of the time, at around 2,000ft your instructor will point out local landmarks.

With the high level work done we return to the airfield to put the multiple controls to the test and see how well you can hover the helicopter. Your instructor will let you have command of each control in turn and if you are up to it all three at once. That's hovering. The most difficult bit about flying a helicopter.

Then back to the training rooms for a cup of tea and a de-breif. You never know you might be so taken with your trial experience that you decide to take up a course of lessons. We did! and it is good to know that the trial lesson counts towards the hours that you need to get your private pilot's license. You will receive a certificate logging your time flying that may start you on your way to your PPL.
